THE STORY BEHIND ROPY FURNITURE

Muebles Ropy, also known as Industrial Furniture Hypermarket, emerged as a graduation gift from my mother when I finished high school. What began as a small warehouse in the Venice neighborhood of Bogotá has experienced significant growth, giving rise to seven warehouses or points of sale. As the demand for products grew, we realized that we had to bring merchandise from Palmira, Valle, which at that time was the epicenter of tubular furniture manufacturing in Colombia. This led us to consider acquiring a factory or machinery to manufacture our own products.

After researching the industry, we were presented with the opportunity to purchase a factory owned by an engineer named Zamora. This was the sign that God gave us to start manufacturing tubular beds and cabins in the Fátima neighborhood of Bogotá.

In 2008, observing the growth of the company, the opportunity arose to change warehouses to the Nariño Sur neighborhood. We sold the previous warehouse and bought a new space that, to this day, continues to be our headquarters thanks to divine mercy.
